Everyone in government in Zimbabwe has had their fingers in the pie. All that "taking the land back for the blacks" was just taking the land back for the politicians and the enablers. It's rotten to the core and I'm afraid with the likes of the just as bad cunts in pretoria backing it all up (and not even mentioning beijing, who couldnt give a fuck about africa as long as thet get their metal out) fuck all is going to change.

How about we re-nationalise it?
Brand it back as Rhodesia and finish the fucking railway north?
A few thousand stalwart Brits strutting around telling Johnnie Foreigner what to do may well be just what the country wants...sorry...needs.

If the future is to be bright then it has to start with Mugabe's millions true Nationalism and not the bullshit he sold although with respect some of what he said was true regarding Imprerialism.

I hope the future is more democratic for Zimbabwe but right now there are many other Mugabe like figures to take over from where he left off. If those who take over do not make any sacrifices for the sake of Zimbabwe and it's people regarding bringing in democracy and stopping corruption then nothing will change.

If it's in property, they can probably seize and auction it, giving the proceeds back to the country.
That being said, all that's likely to happen with the resultant money is that it will be siphoned of in a similar fashion by Mugabe's successor.
Would be better - even though insulting to the nation - to have an external agency keep control of such funds and ensure that if, say a school or hospital is proposed, it's actually built and staffed to acceptable standards and nobody has the chance to "get their cut" in the process.

Plus, whoever he's stashed his loot with will be very reluctant to release it - I wouldn't be surprised if it's weaselled away within some of the biggest and most respected financial institutions in the world - gives them a bit of extra liquidity to play with.

Re: Coup Zimbabwe

unfortunately that wont happen. he'll be allowed off with his stolen millions and be feted across Africa for the rest of his life. Never mind that he's ruined his country and caused the death of countless thousands.
Africa is trapped in a never ending political free for all.

*Winks, anyone need some cheap plutonium, chromium??
But from the source that brings coups before they happen. Arsene Wenger next premier manager to leave must be a potential earner, it seems someone has the inside info down there http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5100585/Wenger-signs-appear-Anti-Mugabe-march-Zimbabwe.html

Wouldn't want this to be a distraction from the league, Moyes should probably just give the kids a run out.
